We were very pleased with it. You folks did especially well in communicating with us and making sure we had a product we could be happy with, and this followup is a further example of that fact. I have recommended you to a couple of people already.

I have an event coming up soon and I can't make it, can you film?
Of course we can! To avoid short notice/last minute $25.00 fee, we recommend that you inform us no less than 2 weeks in advanced to reserve a videographer. A deposit of 50% from the estimated cost is required. Contact a Righteous Star VMS Representative for On-Site Media pricing.
How far can you travel to film my event?
As far as you want as long as you pay for mileage or flight and hotel. If your event is outside of the 15 miles radius from Burbank, Glendale, or Pasadena there is an additional mileage fee. Just to name a few, we have traveled to Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Virginia and Oregon.
Do you accept clients outside of California?
Absolutely! We accept clients from all over the USA. Our clients from outside of California has send us their video tapes and pictures through the mail. Then, we do our consultations either over the phone or via e-mail. Clients view their 2 minute demo from their My Lounge Account page for viewing and approval. After completion of the project and full payment has been received, we send the originals and final project back!
How long will it take you to finish my project?
Your project needs depends on the amount of footage. Usually, it takes us to complete your project within 2 weeks.
Will I be able to see a preview of my demo reel before the final project is completed?
Absolutely! Communication and follow up is very important to us. We want to ensure our video and multimedia solutions are meeting your project needs. You have the option to either meet in person OR view online by accessing your My Lounge Account (clients love this option! Please note: online viewing varies upon your internet speed and video format your computer has - i.e. Adobe Flash Player or Quick Time). You will have access to your My Lounge Account using a login and password to view your VMS Order History as well as 2 minute demo reel, upload files, and update your contact info!
I saw my two (2) minute demo reel and I want to remove some parts of footage and/or picture(s), can I do that?
You have needs. We have solutions. Absolutely! You tell us how you want your project to be completed...we do the rest.
What do you mean when you say transition?
Transitions are the way the slide show moves from one picture to the next. They can be as simple as a fade in/fade out or can be something as dramatic as an animated bat swinging at a ball.
How many photos do I need to have to make up a five (5), ten (10) or twenty (20) minute photo montage?
- 5-8 minutes: 30-50 photos
- 8-12 minutes: 100 photos
- 12-14 minutes: 150 photos
- More than 1 hour: 500 photos
- Two hours: 1000 photos
Can I scan the pictures myself and send them to you?
Absolutely! In fact we offer a 10% discount off of any package for pictures that are already scanned. Just scan them and burn them to a CD or use our FTP for easy online delivery. However, if you are scanning the photos yourself, please remember the higher the resolution, the better your photos will look on the screen, so up to 300 pixels/inch is great. Unfortunately, less than 100 pixels/inch will result in a very grainy picture. You need to save the images as JPEGS.
What is the difference between a game-style filming vs highlight-style filming?
The purpose of game-style filming is to film a game without missing any action. The camcorder is placed far enough away to capture the full field of play. Highlight-style filming shows more emotion and action. The camcorder is placed as close to the action as possible. Because the camcorder is focusing on close ups, some action and plays are missed.
How and when should I pay you?
For small projects, you can pay us in full after an invoice of the services is sent. For On-Site Media, a 50% down payment is required. We accept money orders payable to Righteous Star VMS, LLC and major credit cards.
